Then allow the backboard and rim to descend to it lowest possible height. Then remove the broom handle and use it to push up on the bottom of the backboard. You will hear a "click" every six inches. Simply stop pushing upward when you reach the appropriate rim height. The rim will stay at the height when you stop pushing.

Basketball Hoop Height for 11-year-olds (5th grade) The hoop height can be elevated up to 9 feet, but don’t stress about it; only one more year until they shoot on a real thing. Since sport after these years can get more serious, we like to start introducing more complicated warm-up drills. These are still fun basketball drills, just a bit harder.
